About

Michael Kieley has taught the “Visual Thinking – Art 350” course for the past fourteen years at Loyola Marymount University. He is a big advocate of learning through experience, as opposed to passive lecture-based art instruction. Michael shifted toward a hybrid version of the course in the Fall, 2010 semester, employing technologies such as VoiceThread, Twitter, Wikis, and Podcasting to enhance student learning, and increase opportunities for self-expression.
