Why are we using Web 2.0 technologies?
- Opportunities to research & respond to projects in a manner that best suits individual learning styles (visual learner vs. auditory learner).
- Inspiration strikes at odd moments, and ‘cloud’ technologies offer the chance to work on assignments anywhere / anytime.
- Collaborative assignments for teams can be developed online asynchronously (although you are welcome to meet face-to-face).
The main principle I am trying to keep in mind is to keep things as simple as possible, to get feedback about what is working, and what isn’t, and to sure that TECHNOLOGY IS ALWAYS IN SERVICE OF LEARNING.
